Wow, we have a busy week ahead!  Take a minute to update your weekly calendar for the upcoming events:

Tuesday Feb 9 ~  Election Day    PLEASE VOTE!!!!  Send in your ‘mail in ballots’ by today!!

Wednesday Feb. 10~  1st Semester Report Cards sent home – check your child’s backpack!

Thursday Feb. 11 ~ Twin/Dress Alike Day (we have decided as a class to dress alike!).  We will all wear RED on Thursday!  Please help your kinder choose something red to wear!  & Valentine’s Day Exchange 2:30-3:25pm!  Students may bring in valentines for their classmates (19 total students). 

Talent Show Auditions – 5:30pm.

Feb 12 - 16 ~ MID WINTER BREAK  ~ NO SCHOOL Friday through Tuesday 

Looking Ahead: 

We will be celebrating our 100th day of kindergarten during the week of February 17th (after Mid-Winter Break).!  Please help your child count out 100 small items to share with the class and place in a plastic Ziploc bag, labeled with your child’s name.   These items will glued down onto paper (so do not send anything that isn’t consumable!).  We will be sharing our ”100 items” with the rest of the class on Thursday, February 18th!   For full details, check out this link -100th Day of Kindergarten Celebration

A few reminders for the week:

Friday is a teacher workday (there is no school).

We’ve made it to the end of the 1st Semester!  Enjoy the last week of January!

Hello folks!  Our classroom is in need of a few supplies.  If you are able to donate needed supplies for our room it will be greatly appreciated!  Thank you!

• Clorox wipes

• Paper plates

• Paper bowls

• Extra snacks (for days when the snack basket is not returned)

• Quart-size ziploc bags

Wednesday Night is the PTA meeting at 7pm in the Library.

Friday is an Early Release Friday and the PTA Bingo Night (starting at 6:30 pm)

We are back into the swing of things as we move into January!  It was great to see all the students back at school last week!  We are learning all about SNOW!!!
