Conference week is here!  Remember that students are dismissed at 12:25pm each day (Mon-Wed) this week!  I look forward to meeting with you at your child’s parent-teacher conference.  If you misplaced your conference time, please email or call me and I’d be happy to provide you with your  time!  At your conference you will receive your child’s Progress Report. 

On Wednesday we’ll have our Thanksgiving Feast in the classroom.  Please send in one piece of fruit (to be cut up in class) for our feast.  Please send in your child’s piece of fruit on Tuesday.  We are still in need of one loaf of French Bread and one container of heavy whipping cream for our feast.  If you are able to donate one of these items then please let me know! 

There is no school on Thursday & Friday!

To help you keep track of our busy week ahead – here are a few reminders:

On Tuesday we will have a school-wide Veterans Day Assembly from 2:30-3:15pm.  Cherry Valley families and Veterans are welcome!   The PTA Skate Night at Skate King starts at 6:30 – check out the CV PTA website for more info on this event.

Wednesday is Veterans Day – there is no school!

Thursdayis the last day of the Book Fair.  You will also receive your child’s conference appointment on Thursday.

Friday will be another busy day!  We begin our Character Counts lessons with Principal. Becker – these occur approximately once a month during the school year.  We will also have our school-wide ASB assembly from 2:30-3pm.  Students will be voting on their choices for ASB reps for the school year.

A big thank you to all the parents that helped to make our Harvest Celebration a huge success!  I also want to thank the many parents that chaperoned our field trip to the farm – you are the best!
